IC FOR International Day of Peace

2026 Theme: Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day

On Saturday, September 19, the Inland Communities Fellowship of Reconciliation (IC FOR) will honor the International Day of Peace (observed worldwide on September 21) with a celebration at the Arlington Branch Library in Riverside.

This free community event is open to all. Join host Ipyani Lockert, an array of community action groups, and your friends and neighbors to honor the “everyday architects of peace”—people driving local action, laying the groundwork for stability, and building a lasting peace from the ground up.

Peace is more than the absence of war; it is the foundation necessary to collectively tackle humanity’s challenges. It is the lived experience of safety, dignity, opportunities and cooperation in our daily lives.
